Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Cairo – Welcome to the Land of the Pharaohs
Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, a Voyage on the Spot representative will greet you, assist with customs, and escort you to your hotel in a private air-conditioned vehicle. After check-in, your tour manager will review your itinerary and confirm pickup times for upcoming tours. Overnight in Cairo.
After breakfast, your Egyptologist guide will take you to the Giza Plateau to marvel at the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chefren, and Mykerinus, along with the Sphinx and Valley Temple. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before visiting the Egyptian Museum, home to King Tutankhamun’s treasures.
Explore Coptic Cairo (Hanging Church & Ben Ezra Synagogue) and Islamic Cairo (Khan El Khalili Bazaar). Later, transfer to Giza Station for an overnight sleeper train to Aswan (14-hour journey). Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Arrive in Aswan, where you’ll be transferred to your hotel. Optional: Visit Abu Simbel Temples, the colossal rock-cut temples of Ramses II & Queen Nefertari. Overnight in Aswan. Meals: Breakfast

Disembark and drive to Baris Oasis (5 hours), visiting Dush Temple. Spend the night camping in the Western Desert. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Explore Kharga Oasis, visiting Qasr El Labkha (Roman Fortress), Hibis Temple, & Bagawat Cemetery. Transfer to Dakhla Oasis for an overnight stay in traditional reed huts. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Discover Al Qasr’s medieval town, Roman burial sites, and Deir El Hagar Temple. Enjoy a camel ride (10 km) through the desert before camping under the stars. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Visit Farafra’s Badr Museum and swim in Bir Setah’s hot springs. Enter the surreal White Desert, famous for its limestone formations. Camp under the stars. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Explore the Black Desert, Crystal Mountain, & Bahariya’s Golden Mummies Museum. Drive back to Cairo (4 hours). Overnight in Cairo. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch
