Day 1: Arrival in Cairo – Welcome to the Land of the Pharaohs Upon landing at Cairo International Airport, your Voyage on the Spot representative will greet you with a warm welcome and assist you through immigration. Enjoy a seamless private transfer in an air-conditioned luxury vehicle to the Four Seasons Hotel Cairo at First Residence. After check-in, your tour manager will review your itinerary, confirm pickup times, and ensure you’re settled in for a relaxing stay. After breakfast, your private guide will pick you up for an unforgettable day exploring ancient wonders. Stand in awe before the Great Pyramids of Giza and the enigmatic Sphinx, followed by a visit to the Valley Temple. Next, savor a gourmet lunch at the historic Mena House Hotel with pyramid views. Continue to Saqqara to see the Step Pyramid of Djoser, then explore Old Cairo, including the Hanging Church & Ben Ezra Synagogue. Return to your hotel for an evening at leisure.
Check out after breakfast and transfer to Cairo Airport for your flight to Luxor. Upon arrival, visit the colossal Karnak Temple and the majestic Luxor Temple. Board your 5-star Nile cruise ship, where you’ll enjoy lunch and settle into your luxurious cabin. Spend the evening relaxing on deck as you sail towards Aswan.
After breakfast, explore the Valley of the Kings, home to Tutankhamun’s tomb. Visit Queen Hatshepsut’s Temple and the Colossi of Memnon. Return to the cruise for lunch and sail to Edfu, enjoying onboard entertainment.
Today, visit the Temple of Horus in Edfu, then sail to Kom Ombo to explore its unique double temple dedicated to Sobek and Horus. Enjoy dinner and a leisurely evening on board.
Discover Aswan’s treasures, including the High Dam, Philae Temple, and Unfinished Obelisk. Optionally, take a scenic flight to Abu Simbel (additional cost). Enjoy a traditional felucca ride around Elephantine Island before dinner.
Disembark after breakfast and transfer to Aswan Airport for your flight to Cairo. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and enjoy a free evening for shopping or relaxation.
After breakfast, your Voyage on the Spot representative will escort you to Cairo Airport for your flight home, marking the end of your luxury Egyptian adventure.
