Giza Pyramid Complex :
Giza Pyramid Complex is one of the most ancient monuments in the world, built more than 4000 years ago that comprises of three big pyramids, six small pyramids, and the only guardian of the whole nation "The Sphinx". The valley temple is also there, which was meant for the protection of the heritage and lineage of the kings and queens for generations to come.

The Great Pyramid :
It is the only remaining building from the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World and thus making it one of the ancient and biggest buildings in the modern world. The Great Pyramid is full of mysteries and strange ideas because of the complexity of its interior parts. It is dated back to 2580 BC, making it more than 4500 years old, which makes it the first of its kind, initiating the golden era of constructions in Ancient Egypt. It took 20 years to build and had 2,300,000 blocks of limestone weighing about 2.5 tons each with a workforce of 100,000 free skilled workers. It is built at the height of 147m (481ft), making it the tallest structure in the world for 3800 years before the Lincoln Cathedral of England, which was constructed in 1311.

The Great Sphinx :
Also known as "Abu Al-Hawl" which means "The Father of Terror" in Arabic language. It is the oldest statue in the world, and it is in the form of a mythical beast known as "The Great Sphinx" which resembles a Lion’s body and the head of a human being most likely that of King Khafre as a sign of supremacy and knowledge. The sphinx has been an inspirational object for numerous tourists and poets till today due to the many mysteries that surround it. It is 73m (240ft) tall and 19m (66ft) in length.

The Valley Temple :
It is the site where the mummification process began in the old kingdom period (2686-2134 BC). It is among the most preserved buildings of the ancient Egyptian civilization constructed out of both limestone and granite and has incredible diorite statues of Chephren.

Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa :
The Catacombs of Alexandria is considered as one of the special monuments in Egypt; the Necropolis, built in the 2nd century AD, and it managed to integrate the elements of art of both Hellenistic and Roman to the art of the Pharaonic Ancient Egyptians in the most attractive way. This monument includes many great artifacts and decorations in its three levels and for this reason it has been considered one of the Seven Wonders of the Middle Ages.

Pompey’s Pillar :
It is the biggest monoliths’ column ever constructed outside of Rome, reaching 28 meters in height and 2.7 meters in width from red granite stone, and has a Greek inscription on its western upper surface dedicated to the Emperor Diocletian. The Pillar received the name of Pompey since, in the Medieval Era, the Crusaders erroneously thought that the relics of the Roman General Pompey are placed in a pot on top of the pillar.

Citadel of Qait Bey :
The greatest example of the magnificence and power of the Mediterranean Sea. The Citadel of Qait Bey was built in 1477 by Sultan Al-Ashraf Sayf Al-Din Qa'it bay atop the historic lighthouse of Alexandria – the third longest standing wonder in the ancient world which was destroyed due to earthquakes between 956 AD and 1323 AD using the stones of the lighthouse. The Citadel of Qait Bey is widely known since some people believe that the citadel carries the eternal soul of the Alexandria Lighthouse.

Overnight :
On completion of the trip, you will be transported back to your hotel in Cairo for the overnight stay.
