Welcome Drink

Check out after breakfast at your hotel in Cairo. You will then be accompanied by your personal guide to the Giza Plateau to visit one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, the Great Pyramids, the famous Sphinx, and the Valley Temple facing the great statue.

Continue to the Egyptian Museum, including the Treasures Room of the child king Tutankhamun. Then proceed to Coptic Cairo to visit the Hanging Church and Ben Ezra Synagogue.

Continue driving to Islamic Cairo, where you will explore Khan El Khalili, Cairo’s historic old bazaar.

Later, transfer to Giza Railway Station to board the sleeper train to Luxor. Dinner and breakfast will be served on board.

Arrive at Luxor Train Station, where you will be met and assisted, then transferred to begin your excursion on the West Bank of the Nile River. Visit two of the most fascinating tombs in the Valley of the Kings, followed by the Temple of Hatshepsut, the powerful Egyptian queen, and the Colossi of Memnon.

Continue to the East Bank to visit the magnificent Luxor Temple, often described as the greatest open-air museum in the world, and the Karnak Temple Complex, one of Egypt’s most impressive historical sites.

Return to your hotel for overnight stay in Luxor.

After breakfast, transfer by air-conditioned vehicle to Aswan (approximately 3.5 hours’ drive from Luxor). Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel for check-in.

Visit the world-famous High Dam and the Unfinished Obelisk, then continue to the beautifully located Temple of Philae on Isis Island, dedicated to the goddesses Isis and Hathor, as well as the ancient Granite Quarries.

Enjoy a relaxing felucca sail around Elephantine Island.

Return to your hotel for overnight stay in Aswan.

Enjoy a breakfast box, then at 03:30 AM depart by private air-conditioned vehicle for Abu Simbel (approximately 3.5 hours’ drive each way from Aswan).

Upon arrival, visit the impressive Temples of Ramses II at Abu Simbel, dedicated to the four universal gods—Ptah, Re-Horakhty, Amun-Re—and to Ramses II himself.

Return to Aswan, then transfer to Aswan Railway Station for departure to Cairo. Travel overnight by sleeping train (approximately 14 hours).

Enjoy breakfast aboard the sleeper train before arriving at Giza Train Station, where you will be met and assisted by our representative. You will be transferred to your hotel in Cairo for free time at leisure, with early check-in arranged whenever possible.

Optional excursions are available, including visits to the Step Pyramid of King Djoser in Saqqara and the ancient city of Memphis.

Free day in Cairo, or join an optional excursion to Alexandria to explore its famous landmarks. Visit the Qaitbay Citadel, built in the 15th century by Sultan Qaitbay on the site of the ancient Lighthouse of Alexandria. Continue to the modern and internationally acclaimed Bibliotheca Alexandrina.

Also visit the Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa, the Roman cemetery carved into the rock.

Return to Cairo for overnight stay.
