Giza Pyramids Complex :
The Giza Pyramids Complex is home to three magnificent pyramids; the Great Pyramid of Khufu, the Pyramid of Khafre and the Pyramid of Menkaure. The pyramids were constructed during the Fourth Dynasty in about 2600 BCE and were used as tombs for the pharaohs. Also part of the Giza Pyramids Complex is the Great Sphinx, which is a colossal limestone figure with the body of a lion and head of a pharaoh.

The Great Pyramid :
The Great Pyramid, also referred to as the Pyramid of Khufu or Cheops, is the largest and the oldest pyramid in the Giza Pyramids Complex. Constructed during the Fourth Dynasty, around 2580-2560 BCE, it was originally 481 feet tall making it the tallest man-made structure in the world for over 3,800 years. The Great Pyramid is made up of millions of limestone blocks and was constructed as a tomb for the Pharaoh Khufu.

The Great Sphinx of Chephren :
The Great Sphinx of Chephren, also called the Great Sphinx of Giza, is a colossal limestone monument located near the Giza Pyramids in Egypt. It is estimated that the Sphinx was constructed during the rule of Pharaoh Khafre (Chephren) around 2500 BCE. The statue is characterized by a lion's body and a pharaoh's head, probably representing Khafre. At approximately 240 feet long and 66 feet high, the Great Sphinx of Chephren remains one of the most recognizable symbols of ancient Egypt.

The Valley Temple :
The Valley Temple, also referred to as the mortuary temple of Khafre, is an ancient Egyptian building dating back to around 2500 BCE. Built for Pharaoh Khafre, the structure served as a place for mummification and ritual purification of the Pharaoh.

Step Pyramid of Saqqara :
The Saqqara Step Pyramid, which is made up of six great steps, with each step soaring towards the sky at a height of 62 meters, is the first huge stone structure and was erected for King Djoser. The step pyramid heralds the dawn of the era of construction of pyramids in ancient Egypt.
